OMGoodness! Things have been hectic around here lately! I am in serious need of at least a full week of quilting!!! Since that isn’t likely to happen any time in the near future, I’ll at least try to fit in some stitching between all the craziness.
Sorry, I don’t have any new pictures of projects right now. This is a close up of an art quilt that was at the quilt show I went to in April. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the information about the maker of this fun little piece.
Now I’ll play a little catch-up on what’s happening with my quilts.
The CWD quilt is seriously behind schedule!! By the end of this month I should have 60 blocks finished. Right now I’m working on block #45. I had hoped to have all the blocks done by the end of this year. I may have to plan on stretching into next year.
I’ve also been neglecting Square Deal. Apparently I had cut enough strips for all the colors, but I didn’t cut enough white strips. So, of course, that has come to a screeching halt.
I’ve worked on the leaders and enders log cabin blocks when I was sewing with my granddaughter. She was teaching the technique to her Aunt Katy, which I thought was adorable, since she had only learned about it that day!! I still haven’t quilted her little quilt – I need to get on the ball with that.
I have made a few more tiny hexie flowers because I keep them in a baggie in my purse. I can work on them any time I’m sitting and waiting.
Thank you to everybody for your kind thoughts and prayers. Life will get back to a new kind of normal – SOON I hope!!!
