Today is a busy day and I didn’t have time to take photos for this post. but I wanted to make sure I posted something cause I hate when I keep checking into a blog and there aren’t any new posts.
One of the things that I was going to take a photo of was some ideas for another (OMGoodness, ANOTHER!!!) quilt that I want to do. The DS that brought home the shredded quilts, mentioned to his father that he has never received a quilt as a gift. (He just took the two that he shredded, I mean, loved.) So I decided that I need to make him a quilt for Christmas. It needs to be a speedy technique because I have so many other projects that I want to work on. And it will need to be quilted with the sewing machine, because I can’t rely on getting a long arm quilter in time to finish a quilt for Christmas. I thought about a Roman Coins pattern – I’ve done that before with a quilt-as-you-go method. Any other suggestions?

These little babies are up at the cabin. The nest is built on a rack of deer antlers that are nailed to a post of the old cabin.

A face only a mother could love!

Got to run. Have an appointment I can’t miss.
