How did everyone in the Northeast survive the weekend? We had a coating of ice on everything, which was beautiful. But I was very glad I didn’t have to go out in it.

This was on Saturday out in the front yard. On Sunday DH and I were driving home from church and I was so sorry that I didn’t have my camera with me. There was still ice on all the tree limbs and the sun came out for just a little while. Oh my! it looked like all the trees were decorated with tinsel garland. I have got to remember to take my camera with me everywhere!!

I’ve been doing more piecing of my little log cabin blocks. I’ve got almost 200 finished blocks – only 200 more to go!!! Since I’ve been piecing, I haven’t moved forward with my donation quilt yet.

I did at least cut the 6″ strips:

Maybe later today I will cut the batting strips and start putting this together. I only have 8 more days to get a donation quilt done for the month of January.

Bev, I’m impressed with the amount of donation quilts you’ve made so far! You’ll have to let me know what pattern you are using.

Peace.
