Another week has gone by and I haven’t bought any fabric! I’ve hidden the Hancock’s of Paducah catalog – it is just too tempting! Lent will be over in just a little more than a month. I might be able to hold out until the end of March!!

At least I didn’t give up chocolate!!! One of the ladies that was at the workshop on Saturday had given up sweets. She has WAY more will power than me – especially because she made some candies to bring to the workshop for all of us to snack on. And she didn’t eat one little bit!!

I know I showed you this picture yesterday, but I want to show it again:

Because I want to compare it to this:

I’d like to take a moment to thank Bonnie Hunter for teaching the workshop last July, where I started my Bedford Beauty quilt. She taught some good tips about assembling the various units to make them more accurate and to make it go together smoothly. And because I took that workshop, I was able to sound like an expert when we started working on the raffle quilt last Saturday!! I was very careful not to claim I am an expert!! But when I was able to say that I had learned how to put those units together more accurately, it felt good!! I gave the credit where credit was due and told them I had learned from Bonnie – she may get some more followers after this!!

Now, onto the stash report: I have cut 18 – 1″ strips for the sashing on the tiny triangles AND sewn that sashing onto the blocks, so I am going to count that as used. A girl’s got to do what a girl’s got to do to show some progress around here!!!

Stash report:
Fabric used this week: 0.5 yards
Fabric added this week: 0 yards
Fabric used YTD: 15.5 yards
Fabric added YTD: 54.25 yards
YTD total: 38.75 yards added

WOO – HOO!!! A half a yard!!!! At that rate I will use the fabric that I bought this year in 77 more weeks!!

I’m thinking I better start some more big projects that get done quickly!!
