I am going to try to be perfectly clear. I do love Christmas. I love Christmas music. I love Christmas decorations. I love Christmas cookies!!! I just want to celebrate Thanksgiving BEFORE I start to celebrate Christmas!!!

Once we have one holiday finished, then I will move on to the next!!!

DH is on the same page with me here. He also thinks all the Christmas hoopla starting in September is ridiculous. And he’s with me about Thanksgiving – let’s celebrate this holiday before we start on another!

So imagine my surprise when I saw this after DH went to the store:

Are you kidding me!?!

He knows I’ve been ranting about “No Christmas until Thanksgiving is Over” and he goes out and buys Christmas Tree snack cakes!!!! And brings them into MY home!!!!!

That’s the last straw!!!

He’s in the dog house now!!!

I think the only way I’m going to be able to forgive him for this is if I get a whole week of sewing time with out interruption!!!!

Well, I may be exaggerating a little about how upset I am 😉

And maybe he’s not in too much trouble (although I did say “Seriously!!!” in a shocked voice when I saw those things!!!)

But I still think he should still give me a week of uninterrupted sewing time!!!!

Then, maybe, I could get this apron done!

All I was able to do last night was cut the bias binding strips. I didn’t even get a chance to sew the strips together, let alone attach the binding to the apron!!! 🙁

I did get to spend some time with some of the “girls” last night. A group of us try to get together once in a while and spend an evening catching up. That was fun and relaxing. We probably won’t be able to do that again until January or February (or March or April – depending on the weather around here!)
