Up on the design wall, that is!!

Celtic

Celtic Solstice is still there. I had a pretty busy weekend, so I did not get any sewing done on the additional blocks or the border. I’m linking with Patchwork Times (click HERE) and Quiltville (click HERE) This is the final linky party that Bonnie will be having for Celtic Solstice. I would have liked to have mine finished at the flimsy stage, but sometimes life gets in the way.

Over the weekend, DH and I entertained two of our DGC. I got to pick them up from school on Friday and they stayed until just before Super Bowl on Sunday. Friday evening we went to one of our favorite places to watch “Whiskey Rebellion”

010

We’ve never seen them before, but we’ll plan on going to more of their shows – they were really good. Here’s a youtube video of one of their songs:

Saturday morning, I had a workshop with my quilt group. I didn’t get any pictures of the quilt that we are working on, but take my word for it, it is GORGEOUS!! This is going to be our raffle quilt, so I will probably be buying a lot of tickets in the hopes of winning! Either that, or I have to make one for myself!!

In the evening, most of my children were here for supper (DS#1 was still out with his lovely wife, which was why the two oldest DGC were still with us!)

On Sunday, we all went to church and then came home to get ready for the Super Bowl party and try to get the house put back in shape. DS#1 came to collect his children and DH and I went to the Super Bowl party.

Not a lot of time for sewing. I did get a sewing “fix” by going to the workshop and working on the raffle quilt, but I didn’t get any of my own projects worked on. But, since we are getting ANOTHER snow storm today and they’re calling for more snow later in the week, maybe I’ll plan on staying home and sewing as much as possible.

I have to go out today and work for my other boss – I’m waiting for the roads to get treated a little more before I go – but after that, I’m staying home!

Peace
