It seems like that is the choice I have. I can stay home and have time for quilting. Or I can work for other bosses and make some money. With the extra money, I could afford to buy more fabric, but then I don’t have enough time to use it to make quilts!! It’s a Catch-22.

I had already agreed to work for Boss #2 today and then I got a call from Boss #3. So I’ll be working for him tomorrow. On Thursday, I’m taking mom to the eye doctor. So maybe on Friday I’ll be able to stay home and have some play time.

As I’ve said a number of times, I’m still working on the borders for the Tumalo Trail quilts. This is what I have done on one of them, so far:

The inner border is sewn on. One of the outer borders is sewn on. The other three outer borders are ready to be sewn on. And the faux mitered corners are made and ready to be sewn on. Let’s all keep our fingers crossed that I will be able to get, at the very least, the borders for this one Tumalo Trails quilt all attached by this weekend!!

I’ll link to Quilt Story for Fabric Tuesday, so you can see what other marvelous projects are actually getting done!! Click HERE
