Well, this is disappointing. I’m still stuck on clue #4. And likely will be for this week, too. This holiday season has been a busy one. Unfortunately, that is partly due to illnesses amongst various family members. But, hopefully, everyone is now on the mend.

I did make a little more progress – more than half of the headless geese units have been made. Woo-hoo!!

And clue #5 looks to be fairly easy, since there is no cutting involved, just piecing together units that have already been cut in previous clues. So there is hope that I might be able to get caught up soon. I know it’s not a race, but I also know that if I let myself get behind, it’s more than likely that I’ll put this on the back burner and won’t finish it for a LONG time. Kind of like the Easy Street mystery quilt. I went a little crazy with that mystery and started two. One in Bonnie’s colors and one with a different colorway. I kept up with the clues for both quilts for the first few weeks. Then I started letting the second one slip behind because I just couldn’t keep up with it. I think you all know what happened to that second quilt – it’s still in a box, waiting to be finished.

Anyway, click HERE to go to Bonnie’s linky party and see what everyone else is doing and I’ll go sew for a little bit before I have to get started on my busy day!!

Spoiler alert – I’ve altered my guess to reflect the latest clue – This might be how the blocks are going to be laid out. We’re still at approx. 65% complete since this clue used previously cut and pieced units. I’m still not sure what is going in the centers of the blocks or how the setting triangles will be arranged. I can hardly wait for the final reveal!!
