Last night I cut the strips needed to get our Hospice quilt started.

Here they all are, ready for our sewing day tomorrow. Well, almost ready – some of them need to be sub-cut into half square triangles, quarter square triangle and tri-recs triangles.

I’m assuming that we can get a few gals sewing, one or two sub-cutting and someone to press and we’ll have a real good production line going on.

The Hospice quilt committee (that would be me and Barb!) decided to use Bonnie Hunter’s En Provence mystery quilt pattern. I emailed Bonnie and she gave us permission to use her pattern to make the quilt. Since it’s going to be given to the local Hospice and raffled off to raise funds, I needed to get permission from the designer. And Bonnie graciously gave us permission to use her design in that way. Of course, the label on the quilt will also feature her name as the designer.

But first we need to get it all put together.
